“Meet the Robinsons” Review

I saw “Meet the Robinsons” at the Provo Towne Centre on Thursday, April 19th. Pixar Animation Studios never ceases to amaze me with its stunning visual representations. The opening sequence and specifically the texture of some pillars on the exterior of a building looked nothing less than photographic in quality.

It is the practice in my reviews to lean away from a synopsis of the storyline and toward a review of possible offensive content. However, (more…)

“Night at the Museum” Review

Admittedly, I didn’t see this movie until it hit the discount theatres. I vaguely remember hearing good things about it, but until I saw it last weekend I had no idea what it was about. It’s probably on DVD by now.

It stars Ben Stiller as a single dad who is trying to get some stable employment. He has one young son and a girlfriend who is very concerned that he is financially settled before he tries to hitch up with anybody including her I presume. He is desperate for employment and gets employed as a night watchman at a local museum. (more…)

“The Dance” Review

I went to a matinee showing of “The Dance” at the Wynnsong (Carmike Cinemas) in Provo on April 7, 2007. It opened in theatres the night before. There were 11 people in the theatre.
